The board of the Society for the Study of Sound and Music in Games, of which the LSA is a member group, has announced a formally appointed Executive Committee –
We’re so pleased to be a part of the society and warmly welcome the appointments. The SSSMG is moving from strength to strength, additionally announcing an intention to launch a new journal, Journal of Sound and Music in Games (JSMG). Professor Stephen Baysted will be the inaugural Editor-in-chief of a series that the spheres of academia and fandom alike are very ready for.
We eagerly await news of the JSMG – there has perhaps never been a better time to be a game music scholar.
